What is Patterned Vinyl?
Patterned Vinyl comes in both types of vinyl and is simply that type of vinyl, with a printed pattern on it.
—Heat Transfer Patterned Vinyl, which is what you use for tees and clothing and tote bags
—Adhesive Patterned Vinyl, which is like a sticker, you’ll use it for anything you can stick vinyl to, such as signs, walls, tumblers, etc.
Tips for Using Patterned Vinyl
–patterned vinyl can sometimes be busy, keep that in mind!
–use on large decals with less detail (little details might make it too busy) – for example, on this tee I used a large blocky monogram instead of a small scripty name.
–Considering layering it with solid vinyl so as to create a defined border.
–Keep in the mind the placement of your decal on the piece of vinyl you’re cutting from
Have fun with the Patterned Vinyl! I’d love to see what you make!
