What a great idea for a series – to “Think Outside The Blog” – is that possible!?!?
I am Mandy from Sugar Bee Crafts. I have 4 kiddos and love to craft and blog (obviously!) – – I feel like if I can do something, then you can too!!
So, it seems like an easy question, “what inspires you” but it’s kind of tough! I think I’ll break it down:
–Usefulness/Problems/Practicality – – I wasn’t sure how to label this, but it’s when you are inspired by something you need. Like how our laundry system just isn’t working, so it inspires me to come up with something useful to fix the problem. I think I need to get each kid their own basket area…. Or how I wanted certain features out of a purse so I made one just how I wanted to fill all my wants/needs.
–My kiddos – – When I see my kids, I’m always thinking of things to make for them that they’d like or enjoy. It so fun to see them light up when presented with something I made for them. For example, my girls love rainbows, so I whipped up a rainbow headband – inspired by them.
–You/Others/Pinterest – – I love blogs and pinterest and all the ideas that you and others come up with. It’s so inspiring to see what other people have accomplished and think “I can do that too!” I enjoy seeing projects and thinking how I can tweak them for my taste or need.
So with my blog, I hope to inspire others – inspire you. To let you know – if I can do something, you can too! Really!! With that in mind I have lots of tutorials to walk you step by step through projects – tell you the things that went right and wrong for me, etc. I love sharing my creativity for the purpose of inspiring creativity in you. So pop on over to my blog and get inspired!!
