Hi, Sugar Bee readers! I’m Melanie, and I blog over at bear rabbit bear. My blog is an eclectic blend of craft, DIY, faith, and family. Enough about me- let’s focus on YOU! Since Mother’s day is fast approaching, I thought it would be fun to pick out features that would be neat DIY gifts or treats for Mother’s Day.

Rolled Fabric Flower Belts from Less-Than-Perfect-Life of Bliss. I would love this for Mother’s Day. I wonder if my two year old could whip one up?

This Ruffled Clutch from The Little Giggler would look so cute with a summer outfit!

Terracotta Planter Make-over from Scissors and Spatulas would add a splash of color to any porch!

These Mini Painted Birdhouses from Southern Scraps would be fun and sweet for small kids to help paint and decorate.

This Ruffle Cake from Occasionally Crafty would be lovely at a Mother’s Day brunch.
