My kids had snow days Monday and Tuesday – and I even crafted a little – fun! I also found time to become an HTML genius and move all my sponsors up to the top of the sidebar. Better than before?? Huge thanks to SevenThirtyThree for pointing me in the right direction.
And it’s been fun to see what you’ve up to – we’re back up to over 200 links. Around the holidays it was sparse, but now everyone’s crafty-crafty – wahoo. Next week I might even need to do 2 show-off posts – there’s always so much I want to feature. I have to limit myself!
Here we go:
I thought I knew what wreath I wanted to make for Valentines, but I keep seeing more and more cute ones, now I can’t decide – you know I’m partial to rosette wreaths, so I like this tissue paper one from AliLilly:
A while ago when I made my Pumpkin Cut-Out Shirt, I made a fabric necklace to go with it (you can see me wearing it in the picture – maybe one day I’ll actually do a tutorial for how I did it, but for now you can check out the Beaded Fabric Necklace at It’s All In My Head – Stef choose great fabric:
Speaking of reminding me of things, I saw the pictures of these dolls and immediately thought, that’s like our dolls (really, here’s their picture). I’ve thought of sewing the dolls clothes, but never thought to crochet them things – love that over on Shoregirl’s Creations:
Singing Three Little Birds made cute onesies – my daughters teacher is having a baby – maybe I should have all the kindergarteners “design” and stamp a onesie…they wouldn’t be as cute as these, though:
A few days ago I bought some deeply discounted candy canes- I plan on using them for something like Jodi did at Pleasant Home – simple but cute!
Sweet Bee Buzzings (love that title 🙂 ) shows off some zippered clutches – they are on my to-do list, using the same tutorial Bethandy mentions, remember?
Embellishing Life shows off what she did with leftovers from her fabulous wreath. My daughter has to make something using 100 things for the 100th day of school, I’m thinking something like this would be super fun:
Love all the details that went into this shirt refashion over at The Quick Unpick. Gives it a great “twirl factor”.
Did you see that Chunky Bling is one of my sponsors?? I love the idea of buying a watch face and then making a band – the ruffle one over at Keeping It Simple is my favorite.
Remember when I made my custom kitchen towels? Maybe I should have made dish towel belts instead – I just love that idea, over on Sassy Sanctuary.
