Showing Off and aprons

Thanks for taking over my blog yesterday – I know I mention it every week, but I LOVE checking out all the fun projects – hope you enjoy doing the same.  While you were doing my blogging for me, I did an impromptu sewing of an apron – we only have one play apron and 2 girls – see the problem?  So I told them, let’s just make another one – and to solidify my fun-mom status, I let them help.  I’ll stick on a quick tutorial tomorrow, but here’s the outcome. (Of course I made the new one with a big pocket and then the old one needed a big new pocket so it got a revamp – the fun never ends.)

Now, on  to looking at your creations:

I love the cute and easy Barn Project over on Oopsey Daisy – she uses those premade wood things (you always see them but never know what you’d do with them) and velcro and put this together – fun!

The Train to Crazy linked these boy pants – we all know boys get left out alot (there’s just so much to make for girls!) so these really caught my eye.  And this is not the first time I’ve heard of the book Handmade Beginnings – I’ve got to get my hands on that one!

How about this wall art at This Home of Ours – seems so simple but I’m loving it!

And I’m really loving these magnets from Twelve Crafts Til Christmas – fun and easy and way cute – I think I’ll be saving lids from now on!
