Popcorn Snowball Recipe
You’ll need:
1 batch of popcorn (we cook ours using THIS – love it!!), about 6 cups
1/2 stick of butter (4 tbsp)
1 10oz bag of marshmallows
sprinkles and candies as desired.
Melt butter and marshmallows in saucepan. Stir constantly so it doesn’t scorch
When melted, pour over popcorn. LET COOL 5 minutes, until just warm. This part is important – if you try to form balls when it’s still hot, it’s a goey mess and they won’t ball up correctly. Also, wait until warm to add sprinkles and chocolate candies, otherwise they will melt!
When slightly cooled, stir together, then coat your hands in butter. Grab chunks of the popcorn mixture and form into balls.
If desired, push craft stick or straw into the center. Let cool completely.
Meanwhile, cut tags for gift-giving:
Simple wrap, tie on tag, and voila, they’re ready to go! Grab free tag printable HERE.
