Every house needs a mailbox, right? And a doorbell – that is just the stick on kind that’s battery-operated – perfect. So for the mailbox, a quick how to:
I admit I didn’t do any work on the mailbox except paint it. I left all the other stuff up to my handyman (err, hubby).
First he built a box the right shape and size. It looked like this:
Then he cut a hole in the wall inbetween the studs, so just through the sheetrock. He then pushed the box into the wall. I think he secured it with a couple of screws once it was in the wall. See, it goes all the way through:

I think it was just lowes or home depot, and I think it just stuck on – we’ve moved, so I can’t remember for sure, sorry!
