We have been occupied all evening – making our own LEGO Minifigure Family! This is so much fun! I was in on the elf card craze, making miis, you name it, and this is right up my alley. Look at us, so cute! (and this might give you a hint as to how we’re spending the holidays this year…. so excited!)
Do you see that little LEGO crab in the corner – the cuteness is amazing – love it. Check out just a glimpse into options you have…
we dream in LEGOS….. literally…..
You already know that we are HUGE fans of LEGO. Like crazy. We have tons of Minifigs and I appreciate all their varieties and how they mix and match – probably why I loved creating our card above so much. Want a glimpse into some of the Minifigs we have? Here’s a look back at our Minifigure stop action harlem shake (oh how that was one fun craze)
So, back to making your Minifigure card – – so fun. And the kids went crazy for it. They wanted a turn, and I told them they had to do all their jobs (chores) first – and then they ran around getting everything done. And THEN, it kept them occupied the whole time I was making dinner (which is usually the “let’s fight with each other and cause ruckus” time of day). It was a dream come true on all levels.
It’s easy to set up – just add in the people and click the little edit icon by each one to change their appearance. I let the kids do this one, and someone set Trevor and I as chickens….(update, turns out Trevor set us to chickens and wondered why I changed it…)
You can pick from a bunch of different scenes – beach, snow, office cubicles, whatever – love all the options!
Then when you’re all done, there are tons of sharing options (like FB and Pinterest, etc) or you can download your image or email it out. Awesome, right?!
(yes, I had to turn the Yeti off – bummer, but he was blocking out poor Libby, who wanted to be in the family pic)
So, right now, go make your own LEGO Minifigure Family – you know you want to! It’ll be the next big craze – get in on it. It just takes a few mintues and is super fun. When you make one, let me know, I’d love to see it!
