We LOVE getting together with friends and family – it’s so fun to spend time together and have BBQs in our backyard. Sometimes there is a lot of prep work in doing that, but today I want to tell you about this super easy, super yummy Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Crock Pot Meal!
I love my crockpot. Most people think of it as a tool for the winter, but it’s great for summer – really! You can prepare a meal without heating up your whole kitchen. I’m most productive in the morning so I love getting dinner ready in the morning and letting it cook all day and not having to worry when it’s that crazy 5 o’clock hour.
Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Crockpot Meal
To make Hawaiian BBQ Chicken, you will need:
–chicken breasts
–BBQ sauce
–1 can pineapple chunks
–buns (for BBQ Chicken Sandwiches)

Dump the chicken, pineapple chunks, and about half the bottle of BBQ sauce into the crock pot – that’s it! If you make it at noon, put it on high for 4-5hours. If you make it in the morning, put it on low for 8-10 hours.

When it’s done, stir it with a fork and it will “shred” the chicken – how easy is that?!

Take a scoop of the BBQ chicken mixture and pile it generously on top of the buns. Top with a little more BBQ sauce. Yum! These were a huge hit with my family! Everything will be asking you how you made them.
Easy recipe to make to entertain a crowd – just double the ingredients. A perfect meal to bring people together!
