Hello there! I’m Jenn otherwise known as “One Thrifty Chick” as well as the owner of a brand new party business, Posh Parties. I’m a lover of all things thrifty, and creating lavish events is my specialty!
Today’s post is all about GARLAND! If I can say there is one major impact to a party, I would have to say Garland. Not only the impact, but the price can be even better! CHEAP or even free depending on what items you already have.
There are a number of options out there, and I have put together a great post full of great tutorials!
Let’s go back to a few of my parties to start:
The Art Party featured simple paper chains lining the wall behind the main table. Simple, cheap, and had an amazing impact of the overall design.
For the Army party I created a simple Happy Birthday Flag garland. This was a no sew garland, all done with hot glue.
The Carnival party was a basic pennant garland. This was sewn onto standard bias tape.
The Cupcake Party featured the cupcake liner garland. This was such a fun one, and looked absolutely amazing draped over the wonderful table scape!
Did I come up with all of these ideas? Well I would love to say yes, but I did not at all! So here are a couple of great tutorials for you to enjoy!
