I had this idea for a Big Girls’ Romper several months ago – and I thought hey, I should try to write my own pattern – and I did!!!
After writing it, I browsed through Etsy (I didn’t want to do that before in case I inadvertently got ideas) and I didn’t see anything like the romper I created – phew!
I think these are perfect for several things:
–all-around playtime – so loose and comfy, with elastic straps for ease of bathroom breaks
–great for a breezy summer outfit (shorts version)
–super cute for back-to-school and fall (capri version)
–even can be adjusted for winter to wear with a cardigan (just lengthen to desired length)
–I think these this would sell like hotcakes in a boutique – rompers are really “in” right now (The pattern, unlike regular commercial patterns, let’s you make outfits to be sold by you.)
The pattern has been tested by many people, and with a few tweaks and revisions, it’s ready to go! Testers thought it was cute, comprehensive, and a great project for beginner sewers.
You can get yours ON THIS PAGE where it’s the best price, or in my Etsy shop. Enjoy!! I’ve got several other patterns in the works……can’t wait for their release 🙂
This is great! My daughter would love something like this!
Congrats on the big debut!!! That is fun! Those look really darling!

Congrats Mandy! What an awesome accomplishment. The romper is adorable and I wish you all the best!
Nice job! They look cute!
You haven’t corrected your wording.
“I think these this” really? Adding the ‘think’ without dropping the ‘this’ still doesn’t make sense.
Wow!!! Look at you go! That’s awesome Mandy! Off to check it out! 🙂
Cute pattern! I have a question- did you create the PDF yourself or outsource it to a company to create the PDF for you?
Thanks

I was so excited to try out your pattern after purchasing it today. I did run into some trouble. The pdf is not to scale. I checked that I don’t have the scaling on the printer. Also the bottom of the pattern does not line up with the top part where you’re suppose to tape them together. Could you please help me out?
