One last rhinestone project for ya (I know, I know, I’ve done a ton – I can’t help it – gotta love the bling!)

First off, a couple of moms at playgroup have been wearing hats occasionally so I’ve been thinking I need a hat.  Then last week I wandered around a local boutique and saw some hats with rhinestones on them – that’s what I needed!  But theirs were $25.  I knew I could do better….

I grabbed this hat at Target for $10 and used a design I found in the Silhouette Online Store.  I love how it has all different sizes of rhinestones involved.

 The next part was trying to decide where to put it on the hat.  The ones in the boutique had the designs on the side/top so that’s what I did.

 Ironing on a hat is tricky!  But it can be done -just keep at it! I even busted out my little iron I got at a garage sale for $1 – it got super hot and helped get into hard to reach places.

 And that’s it – – a high-end hat for only $10 and some leftover rhinestone supplies – score!!
