This week for What I Wore Wednesday, we get a current look at the dress that I sewed back in the early years of this blog: Cruise Dress. It’s Simplicity 3835 and I made it for a cruise we went on – – it started kind of frumpy, but I altered it until I had it the way I liked it. I wore it to the church the other day with a cardigan and boots, but the cruise I just wore it with strappy sandals.
A better look at the sleeves – – I should have taken a picture of the back for you, but I wasn’t thinking.
And random, for my hair that day I did an inside-out french braid from the bottom up and gathered the end into a messy bun – easy and fun:
