it’s here – summatime!! some years I go all out and do something super fun as a Welcome to Summer – one year we met the kids’ school bus with water balloons, one year (when it was raining), I picked them up with a van-full of balloons – one year there was a chalk path and signs on the way home from the bus stop – you know, that kind of fun. This year I dropped the ball, but I know that lots of you are still in school so I wanted to show you a fun idea I wish I would have done with this Welcome to Summer Party Decor that I found at Michaels.
YES, I FINALLY got my hands on a Lightbox – I was so excited to see them at my Michaels store. They are the perfect thing for any party because you can make them say whatever you want. You just slide the clear letter cards in one-by-one, easy peasy (my kind of craft!).
I, of course, grabbed all the letter packs that I could, including fun decal packs like emojis. And that led me to find out that they also carry Emoji balloons – what?! How fun are those?!
So those are my two tips for you and a fun Welcome to Summer Party Decor – grab a lightbox (and remember, you’ll be able to use it over and over, for EVERYTHING!) and some emoji balloons (my kids can’t be the only ones crazy for balloons) and you’re good to go!
