We're in between houses-sold the one we were in but the new one isn't ready yet. And so we're bunking up in my parents' basement, which means almost everything is packed away, toys included. So you can imagine the excitement when we got to try out Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster™ -the kids are having a blast and can't get enough of it! We gathered up some friends to check out the new sets (I should have taken a group pic!) – they were excited that the sets were compatible with the old sets . We couldn't put these new sets together fast enough! They were all waiting and pressing us to hurry – "isn't it done yet?!". They jumped right in to playing. We set up several tracks and had them all try them out.

Afterwards I moved the large set outside to try to grab a good picture. Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster™ Avalanche Escape Set features fast and powerful motorized engines that make for the most action-packed Thomas & Friends™ adventure yet. You should see how it works -Thomas actually "flies" on his own – the track rocks him from one side to another – it's super cool! The kids were amazing, "that is awesome!" When he drives through the tunnel, it resets the bridge – even my older boy appreciated all the moving parts "did you see how this works – it's so cool" as he showed me the ins and outs of the track.

I thought it was perfect for my 5 year old, and so did he! He even rushed through his morning chores so he would have a few minutes to play with it before school. The other kiddos at our impromtu Thomas party had a blast as well – they could play for hours with the sets.
