It’s time again for a Silhouette Promotion (wahoo!) and this time it includes SKETCH PENS!! Basically you replace the cutting blade with a special pen and the machine will draw instead of cut – pretty cool, right? Here are a few things I’ve made:
And here’s the deal – –
If you don’t have a machine yet, you can get the bundle with the Cameo for $269.99 or with the Portrait for $129.99.
AND if you DO have a machine, you can get the Sketch Pen Starter Kit, plus metallic and glitter packs, PLUS a penholder – for only $19.99! that’s a deal!
The deal is on a special page within the Silhouette Store, and you’ll need to use the promo code “SUGARBEE” to get the special pricing – here is that page: Sketch Pen Deals
Let me tell you a quick how-to…
The other project I did was an Ancestry Chart. I got the file from Homemade by Jill – so be sure to check out her post if you’re interested in that. I just loaded in the file and selected “Sketch Pen” from the cutting settings and let the machine do it’s work!
So cool to watch it draw:
I also inserted the family name into the middle of the chart – again, I think my FAVORITE feature of the Silhouette is that it used fonts from your computer.
My mom’s birthday gift – – turns out I was using a non-updated list of ancestors, so I have more chart-filling-in ahead of me…
To sketch on the box, just ran the flat box through my machine like a piece of paper, lining it into the right spot – that’s it!
If you want the sketch pens or a bundle deal, now’s a perfect time!!
And now for the giveaway! a Rafflecopter giveaway
