(this is a sponsored post but all opinions are my own)
I have been sewing quite a few things with knits lately – I feel like I can tackle most beginner knit projects (I’ve even got another one lined up for you next week). But I thought it might be time to step up my skills – I’ve been taking the Craftsy class Sewing Fashion Knits: Beyond the Basics and wanted to tell you my thoughts on the class. AND, I have a big discount to offer on the class – wahoo! I love the format of interactive online classes – I can take them from home, at my own speed, and fit them into my own schedule – it’s perfect.
The class has several topics that are covered and discussed in detail, including prepping fabric, seam finishes, and hem finishes (which is what I need help with!!). I’m self -taught with knits, so I don’t know all the handy tips and tricks. In the class she gives several of those – like “tagboard”, which I’d never even heard of, but looks so smart! I will definitely be able to up my game in hemming after watching that section.
One part I love in these online classes is being able to see what others in the class have made. You can also post questions in the forum which is really helpful and adds a personal touch.
And right now, for one week, you can get this Interactive Online Class for half off! Yep, 50% discount for Sewing Fashion Knits: Beyond the Basics – so be sure to grab it now (and then you can watch it at your convenience in the future when you can fit it into your schedule.)
Enjoy!!
