Are you planning a Disneyland vacation and want to know the BEST way to go about it?
You’ve come to the right place! Disneyland is known as the Happiest Place on Earth and you
should feel the truth of that before, during and after your trip there. Here are some tips to
help you plan the BEST vacation to Disneyland.
Get Away Today:
First, you’ll want to get the best deal out there by booking with my friends over at Get Away
Today. They have the best deals around
and guarantee the lowest price. They have discount Disneyland tickets,
reduced hotel rates, discount character dining tickets
and more! You can also use promo code SugarBee for an additional $10 off your
Southern California vacation package. All these extra savings will make your vacation that
much better.
Plan Ahead:
Thinking about what you want to do and experience beforehand can be part of the fun of
planning ahead. It also pays off big time once you’re there by maximizing your time at the
parks and experiencing all the magic they have to offer. I recommend making a list
beforehand of your favorite rides, shows and food you want to enjoy. You can also use a
map of the Disneyland Resort to figure out where everything is so you can not only get to all
the rides you want and save time, but save your feet as well. Remember it is great to have a
plan but give yourselves some wiggle room for impromptu activities as well!
Beat the Lines:
Once you get to the park, I highly recommend grabbing a Fastpass for your favorite ride and
show as fast as you can! This can help ensure you get on the ride you want as quick as
possible. Keep in mind you can only have one ride and one show Fastpass at a time so once
the time is up on your first ones, make sure to snag Fastpasses for your next favorites.
Another tip to beating the long lines is to utilize the single rider line. That’s right, there is
the regular line, Fastpass line AND a single rider line for those who don’t mind being
separated from their group for a minute and enjoying the ride with people they may not
know. You’ll be glad you did it – not only will get on the ride much quicker and save a ton of
time but who knows, maybe you’ll meet a new friend.
Bring Your Food:
It’s important to think about what food you are going to eat while on your Disneyland trip.
Will you eat each meal in the park, pack your meals or do a little bit of both? I recommend
doing a little bit of both. That way you will be able to experience the magical (and delicious)
food of Disneyland but also save money by bringing your own food too. That’s right, you can
bring your own food into the parks. It’s a great idea to pack some snacks for throughout the
day and split meals if you’re wanting to save a little. Just make sure you don’t bring any
large coolers, glass containers or alcoholic beverages and you can bring all the snacks, food,
treats and drinks that you want with you!

Hi. I’ve searched your blog for a way to contact you… guess this will work. 🙂
There’s a post from September 2011, about doing a craft fair. I’m wondering if you’ve done craft fairs since then, and what advice you’d give? Also, there was a cute display from “One Little Belt”. There were a bunch of belts hung on it. Looks kind-a brownish green maybe? It stands on it’s own, the belts hang from a white thing. Wondering if you built it, or where it was found? (I think it’s probably not yours, but one of your friends’, maybe)? Anyway, any information you could share with me about that would be fantastic.
Thanks so much. What a fun blog!!!

sorry for the slow response, but yes, they built that display themselves (Or maybe her brother built it for her?), sorry that isn’t more helpful!! Hope your craft fair goes well!
