Hi there!! I’m so glad you stopped by – I know you’re looking for a super-fun, super-easy project, and I’ve got ya covered. I LOVE these Paper Strip Hearts – they are great for hanging in all sorts of places and really add fun pops everywhere they go. I actually first posted about them way back in 2012, but they’ve been SUPER popular lately, so I wanted to expand a little more on the tutorial and really talk you through it – – yep, it’s a VIDEO TUTORIAL, whoop whoop!
You really won’t believe how easy these are – it’s even a great kid’s craft. My kiddos are in grade school, and they have all made these on their own. This post may contain affiliate links.
Paper Strip Hearts
Are you excited yet?? Do you have your paper picked out?? I stuck with pinks and aquas this time around, but I think I might try to do a set in rainbow colors next… So grab that paper (I like to use cardstock, but anything will work), scissors, and a stapler:

Paper (I like cardstock, scrapbook paper is cute too, just make sure it’s the double-sided kind)
Scissors, or a Paper Cutter (I love having a paper cutter!!)
Stapler

And then sit back and watch this tutorial – after a couple minutes of viewing, you’ll be a pro!

If you would rather read and see photos for a tutorial (instead of a video), you can see those on the post I did a few years ago: Paper Strip Hearts
And then you can hang them up anywhere – normally I have them suspended over my table, but this year I put them on a stick and I’m really loving that natural element brought in. I have a small wall between my entry and my kitchen, and they look so great there:
So what are you still doing reading this?!?! you should be crafting!! 😉
Have fun making your paper strip hearts!!
