I love this project because craft felt sheets are so so cheap (like $0.30) and you can get a few bows out of each one. And they come together really quickly.
You will need:
–felt sheet
–scissors
–hot glue
–template – you freehand the shape you see in the tutorial or use the one here: Felt Bow Template
Now, the project is throw-back, but this Stop Motion video is new!! I just got a beta version of a Stop Motion app for my Sprout by HP computer and had to try it out – – so fun, right?!?!
If you want more video than the awesomeness of stop-motion, I have that for ya too:
That’s all there is to is – – I love a super-simple craft in the summer! And I love how versatile this is – as I mentioned in the video, you can even slide them onto headbands. We made them at playgroup and this little gal loaded up her headband of awesomeness:
Patriotic and perfect – Red White Blue Felt Hairbows (and more!) I plan to get the garland done this year… hopefully!
And if you want to take it a step further, you can glitter up the bows – I have a whole tutorial on that:
Enjoy!

What a great craft idea. They almost look like candy! I think they’d look fabulous as a garland, or maybe as accents on triangle or pendant garland. They’d be such great focal points for those fancy broach sprays that seem to be the rage now.
