So, what do you do with pens? Writing assignments, of course! As a back-to-school project, I had all the kids write out a list of goals for fall. We did this at the beginning of summer, sort of a Summer Bucket List. We did most of those things and it was fun to check them off and refer to our list. So as school started, I wanted to do a similar thing…

um, I’m not sure my preschooler really grasped the assignment – I think he drew a game of some sorts…
but the other kids came up with lots of fun ideas that we’ll want to implement.
