DIY Popcorn Snack Bags

Well, it’s your lucky day because I’ve got a project for you that helps with both of those 😉 I know several of you might have gotten a new cutting machine for the holidays, or maybe you’ve had one but never tried cutting vinyl with it – so I’m going to show you how to use adhesive vinyl on these super-cute DIY Popcorn Snack Bags! Some snacks can leave you feeling hungrier than when you started (I know! I just want more and more and more!) DIY Popcorn Snack Bags

You’ll need:

–popcorn

–vinyl, vinyl cutter

-transfer tape

First up, cut your design on your cutting machine. If you’d like to use the same ones I did, I have them as a free cut file! POPCORN SNACK BAG VINYL

Then you cut your design and weed it – which means by hand you’ll pull out all the extra background vinyl. Then cut a piece of transfer tape sized to fit over your design, and put it down right on top of the design:

Rub it into place, then flip it over and slowly peel the back off of the vinyl. The vinyl should stick to the transfer tape.

So then you take that and put it on top of your project – in this case the bags. And rub into place.

Then just peel the transfer tape off the top to reveal your project, voila!!

You can reuse a piece of transfer tape several times.

Now comes the yummy part – – go ahead and pop the popcorn:

Then fill the snack bags with a snack portion:

I think folded the top of the bag over and punched a couple of holes for twine.

I used a couple of pieces because it was cute, and then just tied it in a bow – simple and perfect.

I think they turned out really great!
