Do you know that I do photography stuff as a side hobby? I really enjoy taking pictures and sharing that with others. The other day I did my first in-hospital newborn photo shoot. And I love taking fun family pictures for people. Anyways, I’ve been loving the quote “Capture Life” with photography because I feel that’s where I’m at – I love to Capture Life with the camera. I have the worst memory ever, so any life I can capture of my kids will forever be seen.
When I saw the Rhinestone Camera in the Silhouette Online Store, I knew it was for me. I pictured it tiny and cute right up front on a shirt. But the deign is kind of big and you can’t resize them, so I ended up putting it on my hip. The shirt needed something more so I hand-embroidered the Capture Life quote on the front.
To do that I just wrote it on there in disappearing white pen and hand-stitched over it in this shiny silver thread I have – love the shine! And I have an embroidery machine, but for this I thought the hand-stitched look would be a good one.
I used pink rhinestones around the “lens” for a little extra fabulousness:
I grabbed the shirt on clearance for $2 at Target knowing one day I’d craft it into something. Great investment!
