What’s that?! Christmas in July – fun, right?!
I’m in a Christmas in July Ornament competition – each of us were assigned one of the designs from the kit to pull together. The kit came with traditional colors, but you know me, I love pulling in a little pink and turquoise into my Christmas decor 😉 It paired great with the fun green gingham from my paper stash.
Ornament Layering
This cut file cuts each layer individually, then you layer them together to create your final look. Here’s what each layer looks like on it’s own:
Cut each layer out of the paper of your choice:
Then you start stacking them together. With some of the layers, I used foam strips to help it stand out and give a little dimension:
Cute, right?!
Then you simply insert that into the ornament, which is also included in the kit! I added a little bit of white “snow” for a fun snowglobe effect 😉 Because it’s fun to be extra!
What colors do you normally use with your holiday projects??
