Have you heard of LiveOn?? It’s a new website that just launching and I am super excited to be able to be a LiveOn Ambassador – try the site out, give feedback, tell you about it’s fabulousness, etc.
Keep reading to see the videos I made!!!
Here’s the profile shot I see when I log on:
(You pronounce it “live” like “I live in a green house” – – at first I was saying it “Live” like “Live Action News” )
At the top are these buttons:
where you can:
–build your tribe
–add a memory
–answer a life question
–create a time capsule
It’s a pretty cool site, and links everyone together. Like facebook and a blog all rolled into one. You have a “tribe” or your family, and they all link. Like if I put in a memory of my daughter’s 7th birthday, when she grows up and has her own account, the birthday memory will be on her timeline as well.
Create a time capsule is a unique idea – – if I wanted to create a time capsule for my toddler, I could put pictures and a video message or whatever in it for him, then specify when he receives it – say, his 18th birthday. Then it would automatically be sent to him then. A fun shout-out from the past to the future.
But right now my favorite feature is the “Create a Memory” – it’s so easy! I remember years ago when my oldest was a baby, we would spend hours for nights on end putting together a picture slidehow, with transitions, set to music to share with family – it took forever! Now, this Create a Memory makes it a breeze – where has this been all my life?!?! You just drop in pictures, pick music, and it does the rest – awesome!
Here’s one I made for my daughter’s birthday (just hit the Play button under the video – it’s light gray, so a little hard to spot at first Or it might be green, I’ve seen it both ways. You don’t have to register to view the video, but I’m sure you’ll want to sometime!)
And if you can’t get enough, here’s my son’s birthday and our Halloween.
Cool, right?? So you “make memories” – you can even voice over the pictures using the microphone on your computer – then the site puts them all in a timeline of your life for you. As you build your tribe (family you follow) you can see where shared memories fall on their timelines, etc.
Come back later and I’ll post my 2012 Year in Review Video for all to see – you won’t want to miss it! I’m currently sorting all my pictures – I’m up through August. Then I’ll just pop them in to LiveOn and bam, share it with the world.
And guess what else is happening today – –
